Our Pick: Parque Punta Curiñanco (1 day excursion)
One of the last unaltered coastlines in southern Chile, the reserve, just north of Valdivia. The Cape traces the Pacific coast for almost three miles. Punta Curiñanco is a model conservation site because it protects a piece of private land that was once open to development
Feria Fluvial - The fish market is a must see. Every morning you can enjoy the hustle and bustle. Numerous sea lions provide free entertainment.
River Tours : Take a boat tour of the river city. There are lots to choose from at the feria fluvial.
Niebla Fort - Historic Spanish Fort in Niebla
Oncol Park (Parque Oncol) A beautiful Valdivian virgin native forest. Desde domingo 2 de enero el bus sale diariament. La hora de salida es a las 10 a.m. y el regreso desde Oncol es a las 18 p.m. El valor general es de $ 8.000 por persona (valor que ṕuede variar). El ticket se compra en la caseta de Embarcaciones Bahía ubicada en la costanera de Valdivia, en el Paseo Libertad.
La salida del bus es a 100 metros de la caseta en la misma costanera de Valdivia, bajo del Puente Pedro de Valdivia.

Isla Mancera - Take a "lancha" (small boat) from the pier in Niebla. Thisbucolic island has is a great place for a picnic. There are no cars and you can walk with the sheep around the whole island in 40 minutes.

Sabado/Saturday: Avenida Francia con San Luis. Micro 14 or 5. This is the biggest market of the week. It is a little bit out of town but worth a visit.
